Future solutions within the healthcare sector

There are significant future challenges within the healthcare sector alongside a great potential for companies with cutting edge on medical technology. MedITNor aims to increase growth and internationalization for Norwegian companies, especially within  ICT.

Companies within medical technology and ICT/healthcare have a significant growth potential. Closer collaboration and exchange of knowledge will enable greater supplies to healthcare institutions and hospitals. The network, comprised by companies and the R&D community and health enterprises, will represent the industry in order to attract the national and international healthcare market.

The cluster’s target groups are regional companies within medical technology and ICT together with national and international companies such as Siemens, Telenor and IBM. The cluster collaborates with R&D communities to increase regional cooperation. MedITNor is a national project comprised by companies from all over Norway.

The project aims to establish meeting points, linking activities in order to offer complete solutions both nationally and internationally. The cluster focuses ovn following five areas: information activities and white book, meeting points, clinical science centre/medical technology showroom, supplier development programmes, fair and conference participation and networking.
