Collaboration between suppliers, fish farming companies and the knowledge providers, together with an ideal coastal climate for fish farming, provide akvARENA with a good foundation for success

Fish farming is a young industry that has already achieved results. There are still great development opportunities with regards to technology and better and more efficient operations.
The cluster akvARENA approaches both large and small players (suppliers, fish farming companies and knowledge providers). The common feature is that the companies can achieve more through collaboration than they would have by themselves. The project involves several leading technology suppliers, fish farming companies and internationally recognised knowledge providers.
akvARENA shall contribute to knowledge transfer and creative meeting places for the players involved. The strategic priority areas are knowledge and recruitment, new technology (innovation), internationalization, and the development of akvARENA as a platform for cooperation. The project focuses on hatchery produced fish, edible fish production and processing, meaning the entire value chain. The overall vision is to develop world leading
